About this program
Business and Technology University invites eligible undergraduate students to apply for the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy for the Spring Semester of the Academic Year 2026/2027. Selected students will study abroad for one semester with Erasmus+ funding covering travel, individual support/monthly scholarship (850 Euro) and a tuition fee waiver. The programme offers an opportunity to gain international academic experience, develop intercultural competencies, and receive full academic recognition for successfully completed studies. Please refer to the partner university's course catalogue for the list of available courses: https://corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it/en Selection Process - Submission of the online application and all required supporting documents by the applicant; - Eligibility check of the submitted application by the BTU Development and International Relations Office; - Interview with the Candidate Selection Committee; - Final selection of scholarship recipients by the host university. Selection Criteria - Academic Performance: 0-10 points - Motivation: 0-10 points - Oral Presentation / Language Competence: 0-10 points - Fewer Opportunities (points awarded based on supporting documentation submitted by the student): 0-1 point - Newcomer Student: 0-0.5 points Additional Information: 1. The final selection of students nominated by BTU is carried out by Sapienza University of Rome based on the submitted application documents. A total of 10 Erasmus+ scholarships have been allocated to Georgian higher education institutions for this call. 2. Definition of Students with Fewer Opportunities - Students with disabilities - Students from socially vulnerable (low-income) backgrounds - Internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the occupied territories of Georgia. 3. In accordance with Article 49², Paragraph 4 of the Law of Georgia on Amendments to the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, the suspension of a student's status during participation in an exchange educational programme is prohibited. Students participating in an exchange mobility programme remain enrolled as active students at their home university. Therefore, they are required to complete the administrative registration process at their home institution each semester.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are third-, fourth-, and fifth-semester students enrolled in the Information Technology and Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence programs who have a high academic standing.
